A Made in USA mosaic owl caught mid-turn, looking back over its shoulder, perched on carved tree roots. The body is covered in honey and golden Natural Baltic Amber; the wings and tail carry a darker cognac pattern, so the bird has the markings of a real tawny owl and a sense of movement, as if it has just heard something behind it.

How it is made: each piece of Natural Baltic Amber is selected, cut, matched for colour and laid by hand, edge to edge, over a ceramic form, then polished. Colours in this piece: honey, golden and dark cognac. Because every fragment has its own tone and inclusions, no two owls are laid the same way.

About the amber: Baltic amber is fossilized tree sap about 44 million years old from the Baltic Sea region. KIZIMA® continues the amber tradition of Königsberg, the historic amber capital of the world, in our Brooklyn, New York workshop — the only Baltic amber manufactory in the USA.

• Ships from: our KIZIMA® workshop in Brooklyn, New York — to the United States and worldwide.
• U.S. shipping: free on orders over $100; flat $6.95 on orders under $100. Delivery typically 2–7 business days.
• International shipping: from $25, calculated by weight at checkout; delivery 7–14 business days. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
• Processing: in-stock orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days; made-to-order pieces may take longer.
• Tracking: a confirmation email with a tracking number is sent once your order ships.

Returns Policy

• Return Window: returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
• Return Process: contact us at elena@kizima.us with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return authorization and instructions.
• Refunds: once we receive and inspect the returned item, a refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
