Königsberg — once the amber capital of the world — produced masterworks so extraordinary they now rest in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. A 17th-century Königsberg amber chess board and 32 amber chessmen, preserved for centuries.
Elena Kizima was born in that city. She and her husband Yuriy brought that legacy to New York.
Every KIZIMA® piece is shaped, polished, and assembled entirely by hand in their New York workshop. No manufacturing lines. No overseas production. One family, carrying forward 700 years of Königsberg amber tradition — in the same city where the Met preserves it.
The KÖNIGSBERG IMPERIAL Amber Capital Collection is a large-format chess set sculpted from genuine Baltic amber — 40–60 million years old — designed for those who collect not just objects, but stories.
