A Made in USA Curious Owl shown in profile, its head turned as if it has just heard something: ear tufts raised, wings folded along its back, tail resting on the ground. It is made of translucent cognac and cherry Natural Baltic Amber with golden flecks inside, so the owl glows warm when light passes through it.

How it is made: the owl is cast from Natural Baltic Amber in our Brooklyn, New York workshop, then finished and polished by hand. Every piece carries its own pattern of golden inclusions, so no two owls look exactly alike.

About the amber: Baltic amber is fossilized tree sap about 44 million years old from the Baltic Sea region. KIZIMA® continues the amber tradition of Königsberg, the historic amber capital of the world — the only Baltic amber manufactory in the USA.

Care: dust with a soft dry cloth; keep away from heat, direct sun for long periods, perfume and household chemicals.

• Ships from: our KIZIMA® workshop in Brooklyn, New York — to the United States and worldwide.
• U.S. shipping: free on orders over $100; flat $6.95 on orders under $100. Delivery typically 2–7 business days.
• International shipping: from $25, calculated by weight at checkout; delivery 7–14 business days. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
• Processing: in-stock orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days; made-to-order pieces may take longer.
• Tracking: a confirmation email with a tracking number is sent once your order ships.

Returns Policy

• Return Window: returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
• Return Process: contact us at elena@kizima.us with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return authorization and instructions.
• Refunds: once we receive and inspect the returned item, a refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
