This handcrafted chess board sets 64 squares of genuine Baltic amber, in warm honey-cream and deep cognac tones, into a polished solid wood frame. Every board is shaped, inlaid and finished by hand in our Brooklyn, New York workshop, and the natural inclusions in the amber make each square one of a kind.

It works as a playing surface and as décor for a desk, library or coffee table. Choose from four sizes, from a compact 26 cm desk board to a large 37 cm statement board. This listing is for the board only; chess pieces are sold separately.

Shipping Policy

• Ships from: our KIZIMA® workshop in Brooklyn, New York — to the United States and worldwide.
• U.S. shipping: free on orders over $100; flat $6.95 on orders under $100. Delivery typically 2–7 business days.
• International shipping: from $25, calculated by weight at checkout; delivery 7–14 business days. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
• Processing: in-stock orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days; made-to-order pieces may take longer.
• Tracking: a confirmation email with a tracking number is sent once your order ships.

Returns Policy

• Return Window: returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
• Return Process: contact us at elena@kizima.us with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return authorization and instructions.
• Refunds: once we receive and inspect the returned item, a refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
