This one is the light version: a puppy lying with its head raised and large pointed ears up, a riveted collar at the neck, a row of pale amber beads across the chest. Its coat is a mosaic of natural Baltic amber in bright honey — clear orange, golden-yellow and pale butterscotch stones, selected for warmth and set edge to edge by hand on a ceramic base. Near a window it lights up like sunlight through marmalade.

Brush an ear and the whole head rocks into a cheerful yes-yes-yes, keeps going a few seconds longer than you expect, then comes quietly to rest. Children find the trick first; adults catch themselves doing it on the way past.

Baltic amber is the fossilized sap of pine forests that stood roughly 44 million years ago; each stone carries its own clarity, colour and tiny inclusions, so a mosaic built from them can never be duplicated. The figurine you receive is the only one with exactly this pattern.

Made entirely in the KIZIMA® workshop in Brooklyn, New York — America’s only Baltic amber manufactory, with roots in Königsberg, where amber masters once crafted the chessboard now kept by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. No production line, no molds: one artisan, one piece.

• U.S. shipping: free on orders over $100; flat $6.95 on orders under $100. Delivery typically 2–7 business days.
• International shipping: from $25, calculated by weight at checkout; delivery 7–14 business days. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
• Processing: in-stock orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days; made-to-order pieces may take longer.

Returns Policy

• Return Window: returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
