Two ancient materials in one object: Natural Baltic Amber paired with bog oak, the dark, mineral-hardened wood recovered from river beds after centuries underwater. Together they make a writing instrument that looks collected rather than bought.

The amber formed roughly 44 million years ago; the oak spent centuries in cold water darkening to near-black. Neither can be reproduced on demand, and their meeting in a single barrel makes this pen a one-off.

Please note: the amber and the bog oak are natural materials, cut and set by hand on every pen. The shape, size, grain and color pattern will vary from the pen shown in the photographs — the piece you receive is one of a kind.

Made in USA — assembled, shaped and polished by hand in our Brooklyn, New York workshop by KIZIMA®, the only Baltic amber manufactory in the United States. Length 14 cm (5.5 in), diameter 1 cm (0.4 in), weight 10 g (0.35 oz). Refillable — takes a standard ballpoint refill; fine point, blue ink, so it stays in use for years rather than being retired when the ink runs out.

Shipping Policy

• Ships from: our KIZIMA® workshop in Brooklyn, New York — to the United States and worldwide.
• U.S. shipping: free on orders over $100; flat $6.95 on orders under $100. Delivery typically 2–7 business days.
• International shipping: from $25, calculated by weight at checkout; delivery 7–14 business days. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
• Processing: in-stock orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days; made-to-order pieces may take longer.
• Tracking: a confirmation email with a tracking number is sent once your order ships.

Returns Policy

• Return Window: returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
• Return Process: contact us at elena@kizima.us with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return authorization and instructions.
• Refunds: once we receive and inspect the returned item, a refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
