For over 700 years, Königsberg was the amber capital of the world. That same Königsberg amber artistry is preserved today at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City — a 17th-century Königsberg amber chess board and 32 amber chessmen, part of the permanent collection.
Elena Kizima was born in that city.
Together with her husband Yuriy, she brings that legacy to New York — handcrafting every KIZIMA® piece by hand, one at a time. No factories. No imports. Just one family, one city, one craft.
