A Norse longship — a drakkar — with a proud dragon prow, a shielded hull and a great square sail, shaped in luminous amber that glows when light passes through. The Vikings called Baltic amber the gold of the sea and carried it along their trade routes across Norway, Sweden and the Baltic coast.

Baltic amber formed about 44 million years ago. Its warm honey-to-cognac tones and natural inclusions never repeat, so no two ships are alike.

Each longship is shaped by hand in the KIZIMA® studio in Brooklyn, New York — no factory, no molds. KIZIMA® founder Elena Kizima was born in Königsberg, the historic amber capital of the world, on the same Baltic shores the Vikings sailed.

Shipping Policy

• Ships from: our KIZIMA® workshop in Brooklyn, New York — to the United States and worldwide.
• U.S. shipping: free on orders over $100; flat $6.95 on orders under $100. Delivery typically 2–7 business days.
• International shipping: from $25, calculated by weight at checkout; delivery 7–14 business days. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
• Processing: in-stock orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days; made-to-order pieces may take longer.
• Tracking: a confirmation email with a tracking number is sent once your order ships.

Returns Policy

• Return Window: returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
• Return Process: contact us at elena@kizima.us with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return authorization and instructions.
• Refunds: once we receive and inspect the returned item, a refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
