A collector-grade Misbaha Tasbih handcrafted by KIZIMA® in Brooklyn, New York, from 100% natural Baltic amber — unheated, unpressed, untreated. Each of the 33 beads is cut and polished from a solid piece of raw Baltic amber: never reconstituted, never pressed from amber dust, never heat-treated, never resin-filled. This is amber exactly as it formed over 40 million years, shaped by hand into prayer beads.

The set has 33 round beads, each 11 mm (0.43 in) in diameter, in a warm matte egg-yolk yellow with the natural inner texture that only solid, untreated amber shows. Total weight 30.7 g (1.08 oz). Folded length 23 cm (9 in).

Why solid-piece amber costs more: every bead starts as a raw piece of amber about three times its finished weight. As the artisan cuts away the crust, cracks, and inclusions to reach clean stone and shapes it into a perfect sphere, roughly 70% of the original piece becomes dust. Only about 30% remains as the bead you hold. For this set, that means close to 100 grams of raw Baltic amber went into 30.7 grams of finished beads. Pressed-amber tasbih skip this loss entirely — fragments are heated and fused into blocks, then cut into uniform beads at a fraction of the cost. Solid, unheated beads are rare because every one of them demands a large, clean piece of natural stone, and no two are ever identical.

Returns Policy
