The Mother of God “Softener of Evil Hearts” (Semistrelnaya) is shown with seven arrows turned toward her heart — an image traditionally venerated for peace in the home and the quieting of anger. KIZIMA® surrounds the canonical composition with hand-inlaid natural Baltic amber in warm honey, cognac and cherry tones.

Every fragment is natural Baltic amber, formed over some 44 million years in the forests of the ancient Baltic. No two stones share the same colour, clarity or inner light, so no two icons are alike — the one you receive exists only once.

Each icon is made by hand in our Brooklyn, New York workshop — no molds, no factory line. The craft comes from Königsberg, the historic amber capital of the world and the birthplace of our founder, the same tradition that produced the 17th-century amber chessboard in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

• Ships from: our KIZIMA® workshop in Brooklyn, New York — to the United States and worldwide.
• U.S. shipping: free on orders over $100; flat $6.95 on orders under $100. Delivery typically 2–7 business days.
• International shipping: from $25, calculated by weight at checkout; delivery 7–14 business days. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
• Processing: in-stock orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days; made-to-order pieces may take longer.
• Tracking: a confirmation email with a tracking number is sent once your order ships.

Returns Policy

• Return Window: returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
• Return Process: contact us at elena@kizima.us with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return authorization and instructions.
• Refunds: once we receive and inspect the returned item, a refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
