A Made in USA Natural Baltic Amber sitting Dachshund figurine is a birthday present, a Father’s Day gift, a housewarming piece or a pet-memorial keepsake that makes people smile before they even pick it up.

Eight centimetres nose to tail: a smooth-coat dachshund sitting back on its haunches, long body stretched out, soft ears dropped, head turned toward you with that patient, slightly expectant look. Cast in translucent natural Baltic amber — pale honey through the face and front paws, deepening to cognac along the back — with the dark flecks and cloudy inclusions that only real amber carries. On a sunny windowsill the whole dog glows from inside.

Baltic amber formed around 44 million years ago, and no two pieces repeat their clarity or inclusions.
