A Made in USA Natural Baltic Amber Papillon dog figurine is a birthday, Mother’s Day, housewarming or pet-memorial gift with the breed’s signature butterfly ears.

The dog sits square and alert, the great fringed ears spread wide, a plume of a tail curled at the side. Seven centimetres of translucent natural Baltic amber: bright honey through the ear fringes and chest, deepening to cognac along the back, with the dark flecks and soft inclusions that only real amber shows. Against a window the ears light up first — two amber wings.

Baltic amber formed about 44 million years ago, and no two pieces share their clarity or inclusions. Each Papillon from this mould therefore carries a different pattern inside; yours exists only once.

Handcrafted in the KIZIMA® workshop in Brooklyn, New York — the only Baltic amber manufactory in the United States, with roots in Königsberg, the historic amber capital whose masters made the amber chessboard now in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Dimensions: height 7 cm (2.76 in) × depth 5 cm (1.97 in) × width 5 cm (1.97 in). Weight: 54 g (1.90 oz).

Gift packaging: ships in a black KIZIMA® gift box — ready to give.

KIZIMA® is a federally registered U.S. trademark (Reg.
