Its coat is a mosaic of hand-laid Natural Baltic Amber in honey, cognac and golden tones, set against a dark head and paws.

Every fragment of this amber formed roughly 44 million years ago in the ancient Baltic forests. No two pieces share the same colour, clarity or inner pattern — this bear's coat cannot be repeated, even by its maker.

The mosaic is laid by hand over a sculpted ceramic form in the KIZIMA® workshop in Brooklyn, New York: each piece cut, colour-matched and fitted edge to edge, with no factory production. The work continues the amber tradition of Königsberg — the craft behind the 17th-century amber game board now in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Length: 7.87 in (20 cm).
